Clinical Experience

Estelle is a companion animal veterinarian with over 16 years of clinical experience and a passion for veterinary dermatology. She has successfully treated and improved the lives of hundreds of animals with skin problems. She enjoys the challenge and complexity of managing chronic skin disease and the satisfaction of seeing pets improve with appropriate treatment.

Education

Estelle has a passion for learning. Throughout her career, she has continually improved her knowledge and skills by engaging in post-graduate studies in a variety of subjects including small animal medicine, rabbit & avian medicine, animal behaviour, ophthalmology, fluid therapy, emergency medicine, radiology, and ultrasound. In 2018, she became member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists after successfully completing exams in the subject of Small Animal Medicine. She discovered her passion for dermatology in 2016 after completing a year long paper in veterinary dermatology through Massey University. Since then, Estelle has focused on and actively pursued continuing education in the field of veterinary dermatology.

Personal life

Estelle was born in France and spent most of her childhood in France and Canada before moving to New Zealand at the age of 15. She now lives in Whitford, Auckland with her partner Chris, their beloved one eyed dog named Stanley, 2 cats and 3 ex-battery hens.

Personal Interests

Estelle is passionate about animal welfare & rights. She has been involved in animal rescue and supported several animal charities over the years, including volunteering for Desexy Revolution, Paw Kitties, Bird Rescue, the Esther Honey Foundation as well as fostering dozens of cats & kittens in her home. In 2019, she co-founded ‘The Pupp project’, a charity vaccinating dogs against parvovirus. Estelle also has an interest in human rights, social issues, nature and conservation.
