Clinical Experience

Estelle is a companion animal veterinarian with 20 years clinical experience and a passion for veterinary dermatology.

She enjoys the challenges and complexity of managing chronic skin disease and the satisfaction of improving the lives of pets with skin problems.

Education

Estelle has a passion for learning. Since graduating from Massey University in 2006, she has continually strived to improve her skills through post-graduate study in dermatology, internal medicine, animal behaviour, ophthalmology, emergency medicine, fluid therapy, radiology, ultrasound and rabbit & bird medicine.

Estelle discovered her passion for dermatology in 2016 and has been actively pursuing continuing education in this field ever since.

In 2018, Estelle became member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

Personal life

Estelle was born in France and spent her childhood years in France and Canada before moving to New Zealand at age 15. She now lives in Papakura, Auckland with her partner Chris, their beloved one eyed dog Stanley and rescue cat Sparkles.

Personal Interests

Estelle is passionate about animal welfare and has been actively involved in charity work, including volunteering for Desexy Revolution, Paw Kitties, Bird Rescue, Esther Honey Foundation (Rarotonga) and fostering >80 cats & kittens. In 2019, Estelle co-founded ‘The Pupp project’, a charity vaccinating dogs against parvovirus.

Estelle is also passionate about human rights, social issues, nature and conservation.
